Sign Up for the 10K Shot Club

The Stoughton Boys Basketball 10K Shots Club is designed to help youth players in our community further enjoy the game of basketball while improving their basketball skills. Players who complete the program will enjoy the accomplishment of a great achievement and develop a greater understanding that preparation and effort are required to achieve goals and reach their potential.

REGISTER FOR THE 10K SHOT CLUB

Those who successfully complete the program will receive a Stoughton Basketball 10K Shots Club sweatshirt and will be recognized for their accomplishment at a 2024-2025 Stoughton Boys Varsity Basketball Game.

PROGRAM BASICS

  • The Stoughton 10K Shots Club is FREE
  • Participants must register before beginning the program.
  • Participants must be a Stoughton Boys Basketball Youth Player entering grades
    3-8 in Fall 2024.
  • Participants are encouraged to shoot shots at game speed.
  • Participants and their families must be committed to recording and reporting shots made and shots taken using the official tracking form. A link to the form will be sent via email after sign-up.

SHOT TRACKING & COUNTING

  • Only shots recorded on a participant’s official tracking form will count
  • Every shot taken in your driveway, gym or any regulation size basket counts.
  • If you participate in a Stoughton Boys Basketball Clinic, each clinic day counts as 250 shots.

SHOT REPORTING

  • Only shots recorded on a participant’s official tracking form will count.
  • Tracking forms should be updated monthly at minimum.
  • Parent/guardian verification required on tracking form
  • More frequent reporting is allowed and encouraged. Weekly leaderboards will be shared to  highlight participants and their progress.

Malaki Sutton Earns SBBA Scholarship

May 25, 2024

The SBBA and the Stoughton Basketball community salute Viking senior and former Stoughton Youth Basketball player Malaki Sutton won earning the 2024 SBBA Student Scholarship.

Each year, the SBBA provides funds for a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to a former youth player as selected by the Stoughton High School administration.

Following graduation, Malaki will attend UW-Whitewater to study Business.

STOUGHTON BOYS BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

The Stoughton Boys Basketball Association is the official organization for our Stoughton Boys Youth Basketball program.  We offer programming for Boys from 3rd grade through 8th grade and offer support to our High School team. 

SBBA is dedicated to developing player’s basketball skills while creating a fun, safe, and equitable environment that enables both individuals and teams to excel on and off the court.

SBBA will coach participants, at all levels, to develop their basketball and personal skills through participation in basketball drills, practices, league games, and tournaments.

All participants will have access to quality coaching, facilities, equipment, practice time, and other resources to enhance their experience.

Badger Developmental League

Our teams compete in the Badger Developmental League (BDL) from grades 3 - 8.  The BDL hosts between 4-6 weekends of games per year and an end-of-season tournament in area communities.  Almost all sites are less than 45 minutes from Stoughton.  Our teams also compete in several additional tournaments throughout the year.
